Collect 8 feathered hats, and 5 packaged meat. You've got 7:30 to accomplish this.
Using your $50,000 starting money, buy 4 cows, 5 pigs, and 1 cat. Upgrade the warehouse as much as possible; start processing milk into sour cream and butter, and ham into steaks, spicy bacon, and packaged meat.
Buy the Meat Packing Plant as soon as possible. Only process 5 meat. Hopefully by that time you'll have $70,000, enough to buy an ostrich.
Once you buy the ostrich, earn another $25,000 to build the Hat Studio. Start making feathered hats.
Keep on selling produce; buy another ostrich, then upgrade your Fan Factory and Hat Studio so they finish more quickly and process at least 2 feathers (or fans) at a time.
I can finish in 5:59.

I did it in 6:34 only buying two pigs and three cows. any more than that is excessive given that the factories at their starting levels can't process your product. (upgrading doesn't make sense since you'll need those coins for your ostriches.) upgrade the well and the truck, too, as needed. you can sell off your pigs and cows when you get your ostrich. i processed my first couple of feathers into fans to get some big money fast to buy a second ostrich and upgrade the hat factory.
